Tragic accident in Ward County

Minot, North Dakota – Yesterday morning at 11:40, a 32-year-old man from Wichita, Kansas, was killed in an automobile accident on Highway 83, 14 miles south of Minot, North Dakota.
On Highway 83, the SUV was going south, driven by a 25-year-old lady, and the automobile was going north. The SUV hit the car as it was making a turn to the west on Highway 23. The west ditch is where both vehicles came to a stop.
The vehicle was in flames. On-site medical personnel declared the motorist dead. All three of the SUV’s occupants, a woman, another woman, and a child, who were all from the Minot Air Force Base, were taken by EMS to Trinity Health in Minot with minor wounds.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is still looking into the crash.
