Third-least innovative state in the nation is North Dakota

Fargo, North Dakota – Apparently, North Dakota is one of the least inventive states in the nation.
WalletHub, a personal finance website, puts the Peace Garden State as the third least inventive in the nation.
22 important criteria, ranging from the proportion of STEM specialists to the amount spent on R&D per person, were considered in the study.
According to WalletHub, the United States spends more than $600 billion annually on research and development.
According to Wallethub, the District of Columbia is the most inventive. Mississippi ranks last.
