The winter storm caused hundreds of collisions in North Dakota

Bismarck, North Dakota – Throughout the weekend, there were just over 300 crashes in North Dakota and Minnesota due to poor driving conditions.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, there were 63 documented crashes throughout the entire state. Between December 8th and December 10th, there were 39 general calls for service and 35 requests for highway aid in addition to the crashes in southeast North Dakota.
In the same period, there were a total of 63 crashes, 82 highway aids, and 127 service requests throughout the state.
238 collisions have been reported statewide by the Minnesota State Patrol. Thirty of those crashes were injury-related, and one was fatal.
