The salaries of North Dakota jurors increased

Bismarck, North Dakota – Beginning on July 1st, jurors in the state of North Dakota received a wage increase.
The compensation for jurors will increase to $50 for the first half-day of work and $100 for each full day of service, up from the current rates of $25 and $50, respectively.
This adjustment is the result of a bill that was passed by the 2023 Legislature that will boost compensation.
Every year, there are an average of 257 trials that are held throughout the state of North Dakota. Approximately 92,000 residents of North Dakota receive a jury summons every two years, and more than 9,000 are obliged to report for service.
