Smoke causing visibility issues on North Dakota and Minnesota roadways

Fargo, North Dakota – The impact that the smoke from wildfires in Canada is having on the quality of the air is receiving a significant amount of attention right now.
However, visibility on the roads is becoming an additional challenge.
According to the forecasters at the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, a cold front that is expected to pass through today will cause a change in the direction of the winds to the north, and visibility will increase.
However, until the front passes through certain places, it is possible that visibility will be reduced to a quarter of a mile.
