Sanford Fargo will organize ‘Swing Training’ event at Suite Shots

Fargo, North Dakota – On Wednesday, April 19, from 2 to 6 p.m., Sanford Health Fargo will hold the first-ever Swing Training event at Suite Shots to kick off the third annual Roger Maris All-Star Week.
A special “61” game where each team can play a variety of games and earn 61 swings to accumulate points is available for teams of up to six players to register for. The Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center receives 100% of all donations.
Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway, former All-American offensive tackle from North Dakota State and potential NFL draft pick Cody Mauch, and Roger Maris Jr. will all be present and participating in the event’s unique games.
The list of events includes:
• 2 p.m. – Team check in and social
• 3 p.m. – Ceremonial swing and start of games
• 4:30 p.m. – Social and Q & A
Visitors to the event can also sign up for the 39th Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament. The golf competition for this year is held at Rose Creek Golf Course on Thursday, June 22. A nine-hole round and an 18-hole round will both be played during the golf competition.
