Saint Mary’s High School displayed fresh mosaic artwork

Bismarck, North Dakota – At Saint Mary’s High School, students had the chance to see four fresh exterior mosaic artworks.
In the Our Lady of Victory Chapel on Wednesday, the unveiling took place. Later this spring, the artwork will be hung from the exterior dome.
The four-by-six-foot mosaics weigh more than 200 pounds each.
“Really cool to be the first graduating class to be in this space, and it’s gonna be so cool to see how much more stuff we add to this space, and hopefully we get to come back and see it,” said Jacob Goettle, senior.
They were ordered by an unidentified donor and presented to the institution. The glass artwork was created with outdoor use in mind.
The mosaics were made over the course of more than a year and a half.
