Regulators in North Dakota deny Summit Carbon Solution’s request for a road permit

Fargo, North Dakota – Regulators in North Dakota are rejecting Summit Carbon Solutions’ application for a road permit for a contentious regional carbon dioxide pipeline.
The pipeline would pass through numerous counties in North Dakota.
The three-member Public Service Commission’s Friday unanimous ruling concerns Summit Carbon’s $5.05 billion Midwest Carbon Express project.
Company representatives claim that they will start over in order to create a fresh strategy that will be approved by the board.
