Person injured following a shooting in Grand Forks

Grand Forks, North Dakota – Grand Forks Quality Inn shooting incident leaves one individual injured on Saturday morning.
Police responded around 1:45 a.m. to a report of a person shot at Quality Inn in 3251 30th Avenue South. Upon arrival, officers discovered one person shot in the torso. The victim was transported to Altru by paramedics.
Police is informing there is no danger to the public following this incident because the two people involved in the shooting knew each other.
Investigation is ongoing.
