Pembina County collision claims the life of a woman from Grand Forks

St. Thomas, North Dakota – A woman from Grand Forks, 58 years old, lost her life when the vehicle she was driving hit a patch of ice and then collided with a lorry.
On Tuesday morning, the incident took place on Highway 81 in Pembina County shortly after 8:30 a.m.
The identity of the victim has not been made public at this time.
The driver of the semi-truck was treated for minor injuries and released.
Troopers are continuing their investigation, but no charges have been filed at this time.
