Fargo, North Dakota – Today is the last day of in-person lessons at the former Moorhead High School, which is officially closing.

The structure is no longer hosting courses inside its halls as the district begins its Christmas vacation on Saturday and sessions are being held virtually today.

After winter break, students will reopen in the new high school facility.

“Since the fall of 1967, the current MHS has been a hub of memories and experiences. As we stand on the brink of this exciting transition, what are some of your most cherished moments and reflections spanning the years from then to now?” asked the Moorhead Area Public Schools Facebook page.
