Mark Knutson, the director of the Fargo Marathon, died on Sunday morning following a cycling accident

Fargo, North Dakota – The Fargo Marathon’s director, Mark Knutson, 53, died in a bicycling accident early on Sunday morning.
The 1100 block of South Shore Drive, directly west of the intersection with Muir Lane, was the scene of a significant accident, which Becker County Dispatch was informed about at around 7:06 AM, according to the police.
When emergency personnel arrived, they discovered that a westbound cyclist had collided with a westbound pickup truck pulling a boat trailer.
Knutson was given CPR on the spot, and after being transported by Life Link III Helicopter to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, he died there.
A native of Detroit Lakes, Knutson. Jacob Grabowski, a 42-year-old Fargo resident, is the driver of the pickup truck pulling the boat trailer.
Although no charges have been brought, the inquiry is still ongoing.
