Mandan Moose Lodge holds annual picnic Sunday

Mandan, North Dakota – On Sunday, the Mandan Moose Lodge #425 celebrated their annual picnic in Eagles Park.
According to the Moose Lodge, this picnic has been taking place yearly for thirty years. There was no membership requirement, and anyone may attend the event. All attendees received free food and beverages from the lodge. Kids are welcome at the picnic. There were blueprints for games, bikes, and other things. Every child receives a gift, according to the lodge.
“It’s a great, great time. The kids are playing all day. We have got corn hole, horseshoes going on for the adults. It’s just a nice way of spending a Sunday afternoon,” said Kent Berger, administrator of the Mandan Moose Lodge #425.
The picnic is also a chance for the general public to find out more about the lodge and what they do to benefit the neighborhood. To support the Mandan Fire Department and the Flasher Rural Fire Department, the Mandan Moose Lodge will host a fun run on July 29.
