Labor Day travelers may experience certain challenges

Fargo, North Dakota – With Labor Day weekend approaching, you might want to think twice before leaving the house. Although Labor Day is the least popular of the summer holidays, AAA source says that the number of people traveling during the summer has remained near pre-pandemic levels and that this trend is expected to continue.
Those planning to travel during the long weekend, however, may experience some challenges along the way, such as Covid-19 restrictions and higher gas prices.
A large number of people will be affected by the pandemic surge, and they will be hesitant to travel or interact with other people. However, we are in the midst of hurricane season, which is a huge risk because gas prices can swing dramatically,” said Gene LaDoucer, AAA Director of Public Affairs.
When it comes to this weekend’s holiday traffic, LaDoucer emphasizes the importance of maintaining safety and patience.
