Jamestown stops picking up trash from alleys

Jamestown, North Dakota – Beginning on Tuesday, December 27, all residential alley garbage pickup will no longer be provided by the City of Jamestown.
Due to the state of the city’s alleys, this will remain in effect until further notice.
On the day of your scheduled pick-up, place your trash and recyclables on the boulevard by 7:00 a.m.
In commemoration of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the City Bailing Facility and Recycling Center will be closed from Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 26. Tuesday, December 27 will see the return of regular hours.
Additionally closed will be the Baling Facility and Recycling Center from Saturday, December 31 to Monday, January 2. On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, regular hours will start up again.
In both weeks, there will be a one-day delay on all routes.
