Graduation ceremonies to be held in Fargo this weekend

Fargo, North Dakota – Graduation ceremonies will be held this weekend in Fargo.

After more than a year of Covid-19 pandemic, graduation ceremonies will finally return to the FARGODOME.

Fargo Public Schools District has 742 graduates this year. The ceremonies are scheduled for June 4 and June 6. Presentation of colors for all ceremonies will be done by the Fargo Public Schools Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Also, because of the transition to Dakota High School from next year, this year’s graduates from Woodrow Wilson High School will be the last that will graduate under the high school’s current name.

Woodrow Wilson High School

When: Friday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m.

Where: Agassiz Building parking lot, 1305 9th Avenue South

Graduating Seniors: 35

Commencement Address: Daniel J. Crothers, Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court

Administrative Speaker: Principal David Burkman

 

Fargo South High School

When: Sunday, June 6 at 12:00 p.m.

Where: FARGODOME, 1800 North University Drive

Graduating Seniors: 204

Presiding and Closing Senior Speaker: Emma Rudolph

Senior Commencement Address: Lars Hager and Madeline Robinson

Administrative Speakers: Principal Dr. Todd Bertsch and Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi

 

Fargo Davies High School

When: Sunday, June 6 at 3:00 p.m.

Where: FARGODOME, 1800 North University Drive

Graduating Seniors: 320

Presiding Senior Speaker: Max Pritchard

Administrative Speakers: Principal Troy Cody and Superintendent Dr. Rupak Gandhi

 

Fargo North High School

When: Sunday, June 6 at 6:00 p.m.

Where: FARGODOME, 1800 North University Drive

Graduating Seniors: 183

Senior Welcome Address: Samantha Jackson

Senior Class Speakers: Isabelle Haugen and Joshua Beck
