First North Dakota grown grapes are named
Fargo, North Dakota – Researchers at North Dakota State University have given the first grapes cultivated in North Dakota their names.
Radiant and Dakota Primus were just given to the newly produced grape varieties.
According to plant scientists, the two varieties of grapes are resilient and have done well in the chilly conditions North Dakota growers must deal with.
It will take a while longer than that to make wine from the grapes.
