Fire crews extinguished fire at West Fargo home

West Fargo, North Dakota – The West Fargo Fire Department responded to a fire at 929 28th Ave. W. this afternoon.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered an active fire in the washing machine, which they immediately extinguished.
Residents were at home at the time, and they were safely evacuated.
The cost of the damage has yet to be determined.
Residents will be able to stay in their homes tonight, according to West Fargo Fire.
