Farm Rescue Receives $50,000 from Hess

Minot, North Dakota – As the spring planting season continues, Farm Rescue has been active in assisting families in need across the state.
Recently, they provided assistance to the Sletto Family Farm in Willow City.
Farm Rescue relies on sponsorships and donations from companies such as Hess, with whom they have partnered for the past five years.
This week, Hess donated $50,000 for agricultural equipment to the organization.
Brent Lohnes, general manager of Hess North Dakota, stated that the company recognizes the importance of agriculture to all aspects of life in North Dakota.
He stated that when a family property fails, the community as a whole suffers.
“One of our missions, within Hess, is to be the most trusted energy partner we can in the communities, wherever we live, and work and we are committed to that high-level standard of corporate citizenship and creating that long-lasting positive impact,” said Lohnes.
Over the past five years, Hess has donated a quarter million dollars to Farm Rescue.
The funds for this year will be used to purchase a John Deere 8R410 tractor to drive a row crop planter.
