Fargo Public Schools chosen to participate in nationwide student mental health initiative
Fargo, North Dakota – Fargo Public Schools is among a handful of districts around the country chosen to participate in a program that is focused on addressing student suicide and mental health issues.
A program known as the “District Comprehensive Approach” is being implemented.
The Joint Educational Development Foundation (JED Foundation), which is a charitable organization, and the School Superintendents Association collaborated to create this program.
A total of 400,000 kids from 570 different schools will participate in the trial program.
