Explosion cause power outage in Fargo

Fargo, North Dakota – More than a thousand homes in Cass County were left without power after a small explosion.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. at the power substation near the intersection of South University Drive and 52nd Avenue South.
Both sides of the street’s lights, where the power substation is located, were left powerless also.
Around 1600 houses were left without power as of 9 p.m.
The cause of the outage is under investigation.
