EAGLES DOWN HI-LINER GIRLS IN HOOPS

FARGO, N.D. – Fargo Davies jumped out to an 18 point halftime lead on the way to a 70-47 win over Valley City in high school girls basketball Friday night in Fargo.
Two Davies players posted double-doubles, with Taylor Fey scoring 17 points and pulling down 10 rebounds, and Ryleigh Wacha finishing with 14 points and 14 boards. Teammate Ava Wild had 15 points, six rebounds, four steals and three blocks.
Valley City’s Jadyn Dieterle had 15 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Brooke Eggermont scored 14 points and added seven boards
Davies improved to 12-1 overall and 11-1 in the EDC and Valley City fell to 5-8 overall and 3-10 in the EDC.
