Devils Creek Fire leaves 3 North Dakota firefighters injured

North Dakota – North Dakota’s US. Fish and Wildlife Services firefighters suffered injuries while fighting the Devils Creek Fire in Garfield County.
All three USFWS firefighters work at the Eastern North Dakota Wetland Management District Complex in North Dakota as part of a wildland engine crew. All members of the crew were highly qualified and experienced in fighting fire.
Injured firefighters immediately received medical attention at the scene, and were later transported for additional evaluation of their injuries at a hospital.
The blaze has burned around 1,300 acres of land.
