After a lot of snow, the City of Fargo sends a reminder on where to put the trash and recycling bins.

Fargo, North Dakota – With significant snowfall in the metro area, the City of Fargo is sending a reminder on where to put your trash and recycling bins.
The bins should be placed on the ground in locations free of snow, such as at the end of driveways or in alleys, according to officials, who note that snow drifts can make it difficult to install the bins appropriately.
Never set it on top of a snowdrift, they advise. The bins can be positioned at least five feet apart from each other and five feet away from structures like poles, fences, garages, and cars.
According to the City, this initiative makes it safer for sanitation staff to complete their duties effectively along their routes.
