Active Covid-19 cases in North Dakota surpassed 1,400

North Dakota – For the first time since spring, the number of active COVID-19 cases in North Dakota surpassed 1,400.
On Friday, the state’s coronavirus dashboard revealed 1,495 active cases, with a positivity rate of 7.99%. In early July, the number of active cases fell as low as 123.
The fast-spreading delta variant is causing an increase in cases across the country.
The death toll from the pandemic in North Dakota reached 1,550 on Friday.
