3 electric car chargers to be installed in Fargo, West Fargo

FARGO – Electric car chargers are coming to West Acres Shopping Center in Fargo, Hornbacher’s in West Fargo and the FM Convention and Visitors Bureau in Fargo.

Cass County Electric Cooperative says the Level DC 3 fast “pay to charge” stations will be the first of their kind on its system and among the first in the state. The purchase and installation of the charging systems will be covered by a state grant.

The money is coming from the 2016 settlement with Volkswagen which had sold cars with diesel engines that did not meet federal emission standards.
