HI-LINER HARRIERS HAVE GOOD SHOWING IN FARGO

FARGO, N.D. – Aftera nearly two week layoff, the Valley City Hi-Liner Cross Country team participated in a meet Thursday afternoon at Lindenwood Park in Fargo. The meet was hosted by Fargo Shanley. Under the new COVID restrictions, 3-4 EDC teams competed during each race throughout the day. At the end of the day, the results were combined.
Valley City was in the rotation with Fargo Davies, West Fargo and Fargo North. In the mini meet, Greta Goven led the Hi-Liners finishing fourth in the mini meet. Reagan Berg placed 10th. Overall, Goven was 6th and Berg was 12th.
The boys were led by Corben Golovanoff who finished 25th overall. Trevor Fetsch and Connor Pfennig both set personal best times by at least a minute.
Next action for the team is on Saturday, September 12th at Graham’s Island State Park near Devils Lake.
