First COVID-19 death reported in North Dakota

FARGO – North Dakota health officials have confirmed the state’s first death from COVID-19.
The state Health Department says a man in his 90s from Cass County with underlying health conditions has died. He caught the virus through community spread and the source of the infection was unknown.
At least 13 people have been hospitalized.
For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks.
