15-year-old killed in crash near Lidgerwood

LIDGERWOOD – An early morning crash 4 miles east of Lidgerwood has killed a 15-year-old.
A 15-year-old male was driving his pickup west bound on Highway 11, 4 miles east of Lidgerwood this morning at 12:22a.m. The pickup went into the north ditch of Highway 11, the driver over-corrected crossing both lanes of traffic. The pickup then went into the south ditch and overturned multiple times coming to rest on its roof. The male sustained severe injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.
The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
