West Fargo citizen’s group demands answers from city hall

Fargo, North Dakota – Following the recent departures of numerous city department heads and firings of personnel, some West Fargo residents have established a group to demand answers.
“That is what we are looking for, a little bit of transparency. What is going on here? You can’t keep us in the dark all the time. We are paying your salary so to speak. We elected you. You’re responsible to us. In a roundabout way, we are your boss,” said Steve Marquart.
West Fargoans for Transparency, Accountability, and Professionalism in City Government is led by Marquart.
The city recently lost City Manager Tina Fisk, as well as the directors of HR, Communications, and IT.
In addition, three city finance department employees were recently fired.
