Water service interruptions for Bismarck households and downtown businesses

Bismarck, North Dakota – Beginning on Saturday, December 3, city officials in Bismarck are notifying homes and businesses that there will be a disruption in the water supply that will last for multiple days and affect an area that encompasses approximately two blocks in the downtown area.
On Saturday morning, in order to clean the water main, city officials will be working to turn off the water service to the buildings that are located along Fifth Street between Main Avenue and Thayer Avenue.
It is anticipated that affected buildings located south of Broadway Avenue would have water restored by Saturday afternoon, allowing for the advised use of toilets.
The affected structures located north of Broadway Avenue will not have their services restored until at least the beginning of the following work week.

• 413, 417, 418, 419, 423 East Broadway
• 108, 110, 112, 114, 116, 118, 120, 220, 221 North Fifth Street
• 420, 422 East Main
