UND enrollment increased by 2.5%, defying the national trend

Fargo, North Dakota – According to UND President Andrew Armacost, enrollment is up 2.5 percent this semester compared to last fall, defying the general trend throughout the country when many colleges are reporting dropping enrollments.
“Enrollments are key for several reasons. The first is to offer a great education to as many people as we can.”
“The second, as universities look to thrive, having the tuition coming in as well as the support from the state as well as support from donors, all of those facets kind of make the whole picture complete,” said Armacost.
Enrollment last fall at UND totaled 13,876.
