Fargo, North Dakota – Experts predict a rise of tourists over the previous year as we approach the year’s final major holiday.

Triple-A predicts a 2% increase in tourists over the previous year. It is estimated that over 115 million people are potentially in motion: 104 million via roadway, over seven million via air, and the remaining number via trains, buses, or cruises.

The busiest time of day for drivers is this coming Saturday from 11 a.m. until around 7 p.m. Additionally, high traffic is predicted between 2 and 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, and Saturday, December 30.

Airports will be the busiest they have ever been for flight travelers. Triple-A predicts 7.5 million passengers, surpassing the previous high of 7.3 million from 2019. They claim that the lower ticket costs this year compared to last are mostly to blame for that.

Experts advise passengers to make advance plans. This entails scheduling parking spaces in advance to save time and money, shielding cars under covered parking, and taking out all valuables from cars.
