The names of the people involved in the Fargo woman’s crash in northeastern North Dakota have been released

Grand Forks, North Dakota – The drivers involved in a tragic accident that occurred late on Sunday night in Larimore, North Dakota, have been identified by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Gayle Melby, 77, of Fargo, North Dakota, suffered significant injuries when a man’s car slammed into her SUV at the intersection of State Highway 18 and U.S. Highway 2 shortly after 8:30 p.m., according to the Highway Patrol.
Melby’s SUV rolled into the ditch, fell into the hole, and came to rest. Melby was sent to Grand Forks’ Altru Hospital.
Grand Forks resident David Moen, 48, who was driving the vehicle, came to a stop at the junction. Moen was unharmed.
Seat belts were used by both drivers.
For failing to yield at a stop sign, Moen received a ticket.
