Minot, North Dakota – The new location of the Lord’s Cupboard Food Pantry and Welcome Table on South Broadway is now officially open.

The pantry’s board chairman, Gerald Royce, stated that while the volunteers and clients are still in the warm, in this area, their timetable and policies have not changed.

According to Royce, the 2011 flood inspired the notion to move, and with the help of neighbors and a HUD grant, everything came together.

According to him, the Great Plains Food Bank and nearby grocery stores supply the majority of the food.

“This food will disappear tonight, Tuesday evening; and tomorrow morning we’ll be open again with a new supply of food that comes in from the various sources,” said Royce.

Customers are requested to park at the gravel lot located at 1901 South Broadway’s front entrance. If the lot is full, they are urged to avoid obstructing the roads.
