The goal of Feed My Starving Children is to provide 10 million meals children in need

Fargo, North Dakota – The Give My Starving Kids Food to meet their goal of 10 million meals for impoverished children worldwide, FargoPack needs your assistance.

Amy Okeson, Executive Director of FargoPack Feed My Starving Children, said, “It’s going to take over 50,000 volunteers, we’re a little over halfway there for now but we need you to help. Come Join us for 2-hour packing shifts. We say it’s the most fun you going to have in a hairnet, and you can sign up to do that at FargoPack.org.”

44 trucks brought all these bags full of rice, soy, vitamins, and veggies to help cook meals for 10 million children worldwide. The result is all these bags and cartons. While some are cultivated locally, all of the ingredients are farmed in the United States.

Okeson also said, “We say rice, soy, vitamins, and veggies. And the soy is produced right here in the Midwest is sourced from the Midwest. The rice comes from the US, largely the south and southeast US.”

FargoPack is a local branch of Feed My Starving Children and is attempting a record number of meals to giveaway. Okeson said, “We work together to feed kids hunger and body and spirit till all are fed. We do that by packing meals for hungry kids around the world that are distributed in 90 countries.”

Packing the meals will be done at the FargoDome from the 5th of January to the 15th. Anyone 5 and older can volunteer. You can register online at www.fargopack.org.

Meal packing will take place at the FargoDome between January 5 and January 15. Volunteers must be at least five years old. Online registration is available at www.fargopack.org.
