Grassy Butte, North Dakota – Last weekend, Casie Biberdorf hit the jackpot close to Grassy Butte.

This hunting expedition is particularly memorable because Biberdorf is eight months pregnant.

She wasn’t going to let it stop her from filling her tag, though. Biberdorf was determined to make the most of her opportunity this year, since she claims to have been waiting for a tag to be selected for four years. She knew she wanted to shoot this particular animal as soon as she saw it.

“We knew this deer was down there,” the Rolette woman recalled. “So, we were just kind of looking for him. But once we came upon him, I got my opportunity to shoot and so, I did. That was exciting.”

Biberdorf, who was approximately a hundred yards away, made the decisive shot.

Spending time with her family, which includes her father, brother, nephew, godfather, husband, and 7-year-old daughter, was the highlight, according to her.

The baby is expected on December 22. Hunter might have to be considered, according to Biberdorf, even though they haven’t decided on a name yet.
