Significant narcotics bust at the US-Canada border

Bismarck, North Dakota – Nearly 900 pounds of drugs were reportedly recently found at the Canadian border with the United States.

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Company, on January 14, the pills were found in a semi-trailer at the Boissevain Port of Entry when it was traveling to Winnipeg. The pills had a total estimated street value of $38 million.

The Manitoba Mounted Police arrested the driver of the car, 29-year-old Komalpreet Sidhu. On February 1, he is scheduled to appear in court.

It’s the biggest narcotics seizure in the area’s history, according to the authorities.
