Oil producers in North Dakota may be subject to a tax increase soon

Fargo, North Dakota – Oil producers in North Dakota may be subject to a tax rise in the near future.
In 2015, a trigger was established that would raise the tax from 10% to 11% if oil prices stayed above $90 per barrel for more than two months.
Last month, the price of a barrel of oil averaged more than $95 per barrel for the first time since 2014.
