North Dakota now permits the sale of raw milk

Fargo, North Dakota – Doug Goehring, the commissioner of agriculture, wants to remind people that although the sale of raw milk is now permitted, it is only for fluid milk.
“A farm may now sell raw milk directly to the end consumer for personal consumption,” Goehring said. “However, this does not include other milk products such as cream, yogurt or cheese.”
Only within the state may raw milk be sold; it may not be supplied to a wholesaler or retail establishment for mass consumption. You cannot donate raw milk.
