North Dakota GOP issues statement after ruling in Jones Residency Case

Today, North Dakota Republican Party Chairman Rick Berg lauded the North Dakota Supreme Court’s decision following Democratic-NPL Party’s frivolous suit against State Representative Terry Jones:
“Once again, Democrats have been thwarted in attempting to contort the North Dakota constitution for their own partisan purposes. From their failed attempt to slip Measure 3 onto the ballot to their support for the ineligible Travisia Martin candidacy, North Dakota Democrats in this lawsuit have demonstrated once again how little they care for the rule of law. Fortunately, the Supreme Court rightfully found in favor of Representative Terry Jones, and we look forward to electing him and our other great candidates this November.”
