Interest in curling in Minot is at an all-time high

Minot, North Dakota – Looking to start a new pastime this winter? Consider participating in an Olympic sport for the first time.
The Minot Curling Club has been prepping the ice for this year’s curling season for a few weeks.
Curling is a game played on ice that is similar to shuffleboard for those who are unfamiliar.
The Minot Curling Club will teach beginners the fundamentals of curling throughout the course of the year.
“Last year obviously we had the Olympics, and we had a lot of interest in the sport of curling. Throughout the summer, over the past month with advertising we’ve been really trying to get new members for our next curling season here,” said Minot Curling Club board member, Clay Feldner.
The application deadline for this club is this coming weekend. The Minot Curling Club will continue to host learn-to-curl activities as well as tournaments in the future.
