Horace celebrates 150 years with annual Bean Days

Horace, North Dakota – This weekend is Horace Bean Days, a celebration of the city’s 150 years of existence.
A pancake breakfast, a street dance, and fireworks are among the weekend attractions. It’s a significant gathering for everyone in the neighborhood, according to Paige Shockman from Horace Parks:
“Having a huge celebration where the whole community can come together and celebrate and just be a part of a community again you can just see the happiness and the joy it brings other people. So, I think it’s been really nice to see that happen for our community,” says Paige Shockman from Horace Parks.
According to Shockman, the city is developing and booming, giving the little town of Horace a more big-city atmosphere.
