Glenburn Fire Department participates in combined fire training with Minot Air Force Base

Minot, North Dakota – The Glenburn Fire Department and Minot Air Force Base tested their teamwork abilities on Monday night during a fire drill.
In case of any scenario involving a wreck or a similar incident, the base has cooperated with 23 fire departments in the region. Glenburn Fire Department is one of them.
No single fire department can handle everything, according to Master Sergeant Timothy Butler, Superintendent of the Minot Air Force Base Fire Department.
“How we operate is out here now in a controlled environment, not when lives are on the line-type thing,” said Butler.
He claims they collaborate with other regional agencies seven months out of the year at the fire training facilities.
