Few members of the West Fargo church return from Israel

West Fargo, North Dakota – After a protracted voyage from the Middle East, a few members of a West Fargo church group who were stranded in war-torn Israel have returned home.
Before returning home early on Thursday morning, the group from Holy Cross Catholic Church traveled to Jordan, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Rochester.
According to Father Phil Ackerman, the journey taught us about the struggles that people face in similar circumstances all across the world.
“We see the newscasts,” Ackerman said. “We see the unrest all over the world. This gives us a special understanding of what people are actually going through. So, it’s really a great lesson for us.”
It is anticipated that other group members will arrive in the next several days after booking flights home.
