Fargo’s proposed regulation on liquor licenses is not approved

Fargo, North Dakota – The ordinance pertaining to liquor licenses in Fargo will not be changed.
In the meeting last night, a motion to amend the ordinance was defeated by a vote of three against two.
The plan called for ID scanners, yearly background checks, and notification of any management changes to the city by businesses.
Before any further decisions are taken, some commissioners feel that the modification should be presented to the Liquor Control Board.
