Fargo National Cemetery hosts ceremony for an unclaimed veteran

Fargo, North Dakota – An unclaimed veteran is given farewell by the Fargo Memorial Honor Guard.
Up until 1983, Samuel Force, Jr., was a crew member of a Navy missile cruiser.
The veteran, 71, passed away on March 17. He left no living descendants.
“There is no known family therefore he’s classed as an unattended funeral and that’s why we have all the local veterans organizations and military here,” Fargo Memorial Honor Guard Chaplain Russell Stabler said.
Full military honors were accorded during the funeral at the Fargo National Cemetery.
