Fargo, North Dakota – The majority of people have gone to the downtown area, and they are familiar with all of the buildings in their current forms; nevertheless, have you ever wondered what their histories are? The History Hunt at the Fargo Library has returned.
Through participating in the historical treasure hunt, both tourists and residents will have the opportunity to travel through time and gain a deeper understanding of the significance of 12 distinct landmark structures.
Participants can start their journey at any Fargo Library site, pick up a map, and then follow the path to each of the 12 downtown historical landmarks. The participants will be able to uncover components of a jigsaw by following the clues on the map, and they will have the opportunity to answer questions linked with each location.
If you finish the puzzle, answer the questions, and then bring both items back to a Fargo Library location, you will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize package that includes a gift card for the amount of one hundred dollars.
On August 5th, the History Hunt will come to a conclusion. All ages are welcome to participate. One entry per person. For additional details, please go to the Facebook page for the Fargo History Hunt or the website for the Fargo Library.
