Bismarck, North Dakota – In North Dakota, the number of air travelers is almost at prepandemic levels.

The number of airline boardings at eight commercial service airports increased to over 100,000 in October, according to the state’s Aeronautics Commission.

That’s a rise of almost 7% from the same period in the previous year and nearly corresponds with the figures attained in 2019.

According to officials, the increased number of flights and seat availability is what’s responsible for the gains.

They anticipate that over the holiday season, there will be a significant demand for passengers.
